50 an hour 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago Marin's premier Dog daycare and training facility is seeking an Overnight Hotel Attendant.
The role is responsible for supervising the overnight boarding dogs, remaining daycare guests, preparing the facility for opening, and demonstrating Best Practices to ensure that we are providing our clients with exceptional care.
Position will oversee up to 150 dogs seasonally.
The position reports to the Assistant General Manager.
Experience with and love of dogs is essential! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1.
Reviews noted boarding reports, dog profiles and points out any items of concern for night and day staff (e.
g.
, dogs not eating, dogs uncomfortable overnight, etc).
2.
Review weekend boarding, medication and feeding reports for proper sign offs; 3.
Maintain Communication Book with critical information daily for boarding and daycare dogs nightly.
4.
Create & maintain dog profiles for daycare and boarding dogs.
1.
Facility Cleaning a.
Ensure appearance and odor of facility is appropriate at all times (interior & exterior) b.
Clean and organize main building.
c.
Stock and refill items.
d.
Organize exterior buildings.
e.
Ensure common/storage areas are kept clean and well organized.
2.
Lodging Dogs a.
Coordinate lodging dogs placement and take measures to reduce stress and/or minimize property damage as needed.
b.
Ensure dogs are given proper potty breaks c.
Ensure dogs are fed as outlined in procedures d.
Prepare medication and meals as instructed.
Modify instructions as needed.
e.
Review lodging reports on all dogs daily to ensure proper amount of food consumption and eliminations for length of stay.
Take action as needed to resolve problems in eating or eliminations.
Consult with supervisor and management as needed.

Monitor stress levels of all dogs daily and take action as needed to minimize.

Maintain Guests Notes h.
Departure days - guest notes are up to date and belongings are ready for client pick-up.
i.
Ensure kennel, crates, and general area are kept clean.
j.
Ensure dog warnings are added to Gingr.
k.
Identify dogs that may require crate training for referral to ADU.
l.
Identify deep cleaning needs for referral to Management.
m.
Monitor supply, tool and equipment stocks and request as needed n.
Monitor equipment and tools to ensure proper maintenance is done and work properly Customer Service a.
Respond to emails, phone calls, messages before closing, currently 10 p.
m.
b.
Ensure client satisfaction with late pet pick-ups by returning all belongings and providing personal information on the pet's stay.
c.
Complete and deliver first lodging stay report cards to clients at pick-up.
d.
Answer phone calls and inquiries as per policy.
e.
Sell additional services as opportunities arise.
f.
Provide documentation and notes for reception on pick-ups, arrivals or other issues that they will need to handle on the next business day.
Cleaning & Projects a.
Ensure a basic clean-up of crates and kennels as dogs depart.
Other Job Duties 1.
