Garden Center Nurseryperson
Sloat Garden Center is hiring General Nurseryperson positions at our 401 Miller Ave. location in Mill Valley. Duties of the Nurseryperson include customer service, product sales(plants, tools, soils, fertilizers, etc.), cashiering, unloading delivery trucks, stocking/merchandising/pricing/displaying product, watering plants, sweeping, loading our customer's cars, answering phones, and more!
During your time with us, you will learn about the products that we sell along with plants that will help our customers create beautiful gardens. We encourage and support you in related classes outside of our own mentoring program. We also offer a generous discount to our team members.
Compensation is hourly. Weekend availability is a must. Ability to lift 50 lbs. is required. Retail or restaurant experience is a plus. Your commitment to team work is essential. Plant knowledge is a bonus.A California Driver's license and clean driving record are appreciated
