Sr Manager, Business Applications, SalesTech

Within the IT team at Glassdoor one of our most important responsibilities is to provide business systems design, development, deployment and support to our worldwide business owners. These systems touch both internal and external customers and serve as the foundation that runs Glassdoor's business; these systems run in a 24x7x365 mission-critical environment and must be able to scale effectively with Glassdoor's growth.
The Sr Manager of Business Applications, reporting to the Director of Enterprise Applications, is accountable and responsible for the deliveries of SalesTech team which primarily supports Sales, Marketing and Customer Success business teams. The ideal candidate for this role will have a blend of technical and business experience with a strong expertise in the technology stack powering enterprise applications. Organizational responsibilities include domain architecture, business systems analysis, design, development, integration, testing and maintenance of enterprise applications and cloud-based systems. This person will own building and streamlining business processes and systems designs that enhance potential prospects experience with Lead to Cash management. The team member is expected to be an expert on Salesforce.com platform, and have a strong experience in building and manageing the team.
Responsibilities:
Build, manage, and grow a small team of business analysts, solution architect and developers including contractors and third party developers
Define a roadmap for Glassdoor's SalesTech applications used to drive Glassdoor's business systems environment
Partner with business executives and stakeholders to ensure that the project roadmap continuously reflects business priorities as projects and business needs change
Instrumental in rolling out the new technology that enables Glassdoor's business to run efficiently
Defining technical and system requirements, delivery roadmaps, and go-forward support processes
Analyzing and designing business processes aligning with industry best practices
Defining data strategy for the successful and efficient execution of sales and marketing programs
Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
Respond proactively to user questions/issues and implement new processes or improve existing ones. This includes interacting with cross-functional business units to define requirements and understand both systems upstream and downstream changes
Monitor and maintain data quality and completeness by leveraging tools in CRM
Identify internal requirements and development of systems that improves operational efficiency
Optimize value delivery by engaging outside agencies to provide flexible bandwidth and leverage offshore talent
Requirements:
8+ years managing enterprise application development or software projects
4+ years of managing and delivering different projects on Salesforce.com Platform
3+ years of people management experience including a passion for developing, coaching and mentoring a team of mid to senior level resources, strong in hiring, team building and organizational development
Must have experience in managing projects in parallel
Strong knowledge and experience of the technology ecosystem for sales and marketing operations, including solutions used for Pricing and Quoting management (CPQ), Contract life-time management (CLM), Revenue management, Commission calculations, Sales forecasting, Lead and Opportunity management
Experience with various software-industry business models including subscription, ecommerce, multi-tier channel distribution and enterprise-direct model for sales, fulfillment and support
Experience in managing SaaS business systems, taking leadership role in defining business processes for sales and marketing operations
Salesforce architecture experience (with SOAP, Rest, MetaData, Tooling APIs, Apex, and Visualforce.)
Expertise in Agile software development methodologies
BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience in the software industry

Ability to learn and adapt to new flows and software technologies
Ability to effectively prioritize, organize, manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with multiple constituencies.
High level of energy and a desire to thrive in a growing, complex, fast-paced organization; ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
Must be self-motivated, obsessive about details, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills, including ability to listen to the needs of others and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present effectively in both oral and written presentations to all levels in the organization
People management experience is a plus

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
