Growing Sausalito financial firm specializing in wealth management and financial advisory services, is seeking to add to their team. Committed to outstanding, individualized service, they are seeking to add a Client Operations Associate to work with the Financial Advisor teams to prepare client presentations, perform portfolio analysis, set up client trades and more. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated candidate to gain exposure to all aspects of private wealth management.


Job Title: Client Operations Associate

Key responsibilities:



  • Update and maintain data in the firm's portfolio accounting system (Orion) and CRM system (Salesforce).

  • Prepare custom reports of client and industry data using Excel.

  • Learn how to rebalance portfolios and set up necessary trades.

  • Analyze financial information obtained from clients/prospects to determine strategies for achieving their investment objectives using Money Guide Pro.

  • Work as part of a team toward a common goal to provide exceptional client service.


Required Professional Background and Expertise:



  • Two to three years of direct client experience with an investment or brokerage firm, bank or similar organization, aspiring to work in the financial services industry.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.

  • Strong Excel spreadsheet skills

  • Willingness to learn new systems for portfolio accounting, CRM, financial analysis, and trading.

  • Highly motivated, positive attitude and perseverance are essential characteristics.

  • Confident, professional presence both on the phone and face-to-face.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Word and Excel are required.

  • Basic understanding of personal finance, investment vehicles, and portfolio management.

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
