Senior Front End Engineer, Content

About the Job The Glassdoor Consumer Content team is looking for a Sr Front End Engineer to help deliver key initiatives towards improving Glassdoor's consumer experience. As part of the Content team, you will responsible for developing the front-end experience for the reviews, salaries, interviews, and  benefits sections of Glassdoor. You will partner closely with Product to build solutions that meet business goals, create interactive, engaging user experiences, and collaborate across engineering teams and departments to solve interesting and complex problems. Our Mill Valley location is  just north of the Golden Gate Bridge right off of 101 at the Shoreline exit. About You You have a passion for creating high-quality, fast, accessible user interfaces. You have solid experience in building dynamic, responsive web pages using JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5 using libraries such as React and jQuery.  You are constantly learning and keeping up with the latest in client-side technologies. The ideal candidate will have experienceworking with both Java and Node.js in high-volume, production environments. Skills and Qualifications 4+ years building high-quality, secure presentation layers for high visibility websites Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery Experience in ReactJS and NodeJS Proficiency in building responsive web applications Experience developing server-side MVC applications, ideally Java/Spring based Experience building products for international audiences and Search Engine Optimization best practices and techniques Continual learning of emerging technologies/industry trends Energized and excited by challenging projects that is reflected in a drive to deliver Ability to effectively and confidently communicate (verbally and written) technical issues in a clear, collaborative and open-minded manner with both technical and non-technical peers

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
