Head of Product Marketing

In this high-impact role, you'll be responsible for representing the voice of the customer across Glassdoor, owning our positioning and influencing strategy through customer and market insights. You'll partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales executives to set product development priorities, define go-to-market strategy, and drive Glassdoor's positioning through sales and marketing content. This is a great fit for a strategic leader who is motivated to influence strategy, who excels in forging strong cross-functional partnerships, and who is passionate about developing talent. You'll lead a team of 7 product and content marketers, directly managing three reports, with opportunity for growth in managerial scope. The role reports to the VP, Marketing and is based in San Francisco, with occasional work from our Mill Valley office 1-2 days per week.   Responsibilities: Develop deep expertise in the recruiting market and in Glassdoor's customers - both employers and consumers - through research and direct interactions Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and GTM executives to influence product development roadmap and go-to-market strategy, applying market and customer expertise Own Glassdoor's positioning, employer and consumer segmentation, and marketing content development Inform marketing campaign strategy based on knowledge of the customer, their needs, and our positioning Represent the voice of the customer throughout the organization Lead a team of 7 product marketers and content marketers Qualifications and Requirements: 10+ years relevant experience in product marketing, brand management, strategy consulting, or other highly strategic disciplines, with 5+ years of people management experience Undergraduatedegree in a business discipline required, MBA preferred Exceptional strategic thinking ability and strong business judgment Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, storytelling ability, and executive presence Demonstrated ability to develop deep customer empathy and successfully apply to go-to-market strategy Experience building strong, collaborative cross-functional partnerships Comfort with fast-paced environments; able to bring structure to ambiguity Passion for managing people and developing talent Inclusive leadership style and can-do attitude that adds to the Glassdoor culture Glassdoor offers a fast-paced work environment, competitive compensation, excellent benefits and the opportunity to contribute to the success of a fast-growing tech company. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
